The Newark, New Jersey and Wilmington, Delaware offices of FBT Gibbons are seeking a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate.

The Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group is a growing and diverse practice with a national footprint. Our attorneys practice in all areas of bankruptcy and insolvency law, with a focus on sophisticated corporate reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings and insolvency counseling, and related litigation. Clients include official committees of unsecured creditors and bondholders, debtors-in-possession, Chapter 11 and 7 trustees, secured creditors and lenders, indenture trustees, insurers, asset purchasers, lessors, and other significant creditors.
Qualifications
- Judicial clerkship experience is preferred but not required
- Superior academic credentials, and excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Admission to the New York bar (in addition to NJ and/or DE) is preferred but not required
The salary range for this role is $165,000 to $180,000, reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.
