THE ROLE:
As Assistant Executive Housekeeper , you will be a key steward of the hotel's aesthetic and operational excellence. Working alongside the Executive Housekeeper and Rooms leadership team, you will help orchestrate the daily rhythm of the Housekeeping department, ensuring that every guest space embodies the elevated standards of Park Hyatt .
You will lead and inspire a dedicated team of room attendants, turn down attendants, housepersons, and public area attendants-conducting meticulous inspections, overseeing inventory and supplies, and supporting the creation of efficient departmental schedules. Your leadership will extend to onboarding, training, and developing colleagues, cultivating a culture rooted in pride, craftsmanship, and genuine care.
Collaboration is essential. You will partner closely with Front Office, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other operational teams to ensure seamless communication and flawless execution. Whether preparing for a high-profile arrival or managing back-of-house logistics, your influence will help shape an environment where luxury is felt in every detail.

SALARY INFORMATION:
The base salary for this position ranges from $63,000 to $78,750. This range reflects the competitive compensation expected at Park Hyatt Chicago. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
- Luxury Experience : 2-3 years minimum of progressive leadership experience in hotel housekeeping or rooms division, ideally within a luxury or Forbes-rated property where precision and presentation are paramount.
- Hospitality Education : Degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management preferred, reflecting a foundation in service excellence and operational sophistication.
- Forbes Standards : Deep familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide principles and an unwavering commitment to flawless cleanliness, refined aesthetics, and elevated service delivery.
- Leadership Excellence : A poised, inspirational leader with the ability to cultivate engaged, high-performing teams through clarity, motivation, and genuine care.
- Communication Mastery : Refined verbal and written communication skills, with the grace and professionalism required to interact seamlessly with guests, colleagues, and leadership.
- Guest Anticipation: Demonstrated ability to elevate guest satisfaction through thoughtful, anticipatory service that reflects an intuitive understanding of luxury expectations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal awareness and a collaborative mindset, fostering trust, teamwork, and a positive departmental culture.
- Operational Precision : Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time, resources, and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and housekeeping or property-management systems, with the ability to navigate technology that supports operational excellence.
- Problem-Solving : A composed, solutions-oriented approach to resolving guest concerns and operational challenges with professionalism and discretion.
- Schedule Flexibility : Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with business needs and luxury service demands.
