SummaryThe Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our amazing team. The Hyatt Centric is centrally located within Old Town and a short stroll to the lively Duval Street.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Front Office Manager to help lead our Front Office team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. In this hands-on leadership role, you will support daily operations, ensure service excellence, and play a key role in colleague development.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in overseeing the Front Office team, including guest services, check-in/check-out operations, Jala Spa bookings, and room assignments.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and maintain accountability among team members
- Manage payroll, scheduling, staffing levels, and daily shift operations
- Provide on-the-job training, performance coaching, and staff development opportunities
- Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that supports both guest and colleague satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel Front Office environment required
- Strong understanding of Front Office operations, including guest services, reservations, and cash handling procedures
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred
- Ability to analyze operational needs and make sound decisions in a dynamic setting
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
