Our newly renovated hotel features 256 guestrooms including 50 spacious studio suites. With more than 31,000 square feet of revitalized meeting and banquet space, the hotel provides premier meeting experience in the Tri-State area.

The Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible for enhancing our guest experience at the Front Desk by checking guests in and out, addressing any guest situations brought to the front desk. The position will have exposure to the housekeeping department and F&B areas of the hotel to assist with the overall operations within the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and hospitable attitude.
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
- Verify reservations, room assignments, and payment methods.
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and dining recommendations.
- Handle guest requests and resolve concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process room changes, upgrades, and special requests when available.
- Maintain accurate guest records and update information in the property management system.
- Balance cash drawers and complete end-of-shift reports according to hotel procedures.
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and security procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.

The hourly rate for this position is: $21.05, annualized at $52,000 based on 45 hours per week.
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of one year previous front office supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends/holidays/overnight)
