The Opportunity: Assistant Operations Manager - Housekeeping
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented leader to help elevate our housekeeping operations. In this role, you'll partner with the Executive Housekeeper to oversee all aspects of housekeeping-from guest rooms to public spaces-ensuring every corner reflects Hyatt's high standards.
You'll play a key role in:
- Leading daily operations across housekeeping and public areas
- Coaching, developing, and scheduling team members
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences, including VIP and high-profile guests
- Upholding safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence
- Fostering a positive, high-performing team environment
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in creating exceptional experiences behind the scenes.
What You'll Bring
- A passion for service and creating memorable guest experiences
- 1-2 years of progressive experience in hotel Rooms or Housekeeping leadership
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A collaborative, high-energy leadership style
- Attention to detail and a drive for operational excellence
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Union experience (preferred)
- Hospitality degree (a plus)
What You'll Earn
Salary: $66,300 - $72,000 (based on experience)

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- 1-2 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience, housekeeping management experience preferred
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Union experience strongly preferred
