This role supports our two Hyatt Centric locations in Atlanta: Hyatt Centric Atlanta Buckhead and Hyatt Centric Atlanta Midtown. As a member of each property's Leadership Committee, the Area Director of Revenue is a highly visible position with regular interaction with Ownership, Senior Leadership, and Corporate partners.
This role has full accountability for the revenue management discipline across both hotels and is expected to aggressively drive topline growth, market share gains, and profit optimization across rooms and food and beverage. The successful candidate will operate with an ownership mindset-leveraging data, technology, and market intelligence to consistently outperform the competitive set.
Key Responsibilities
- Outperform direct competitors by growing market share through rational, competitive pricing strategies; thoughtful inventory management; and optimized distribution supported by targeted marketing initiatives
- Lead revenue management analytics and reporting, delivering insights that support, monitor, and evaluate hotel business strategies and performance
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to provide strategic guidance on initiatives aligned with demand, market conditions, and hotel objectives
- Produce accurate and actionable forecasts that inform goal-setting, budgeting, and long-range planning while driving sustainable revenue growth
- Develop, mentor, and support the Revenue and Strategy teams at both properties, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
- Ensure alignment with Hyatt revenue management standards, tools, and best practices while adapting strategies to meet the specific needs of each hotel and market
- This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, contingent upon the candidate's experience level as well as business and operational requirements across both locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years progressive revenue management experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with a strong preference for multi-property or complex market responsibility
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a proven ability to translate analytics into strategy and results
- Strong leadership presence with a track record of developing talent and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels
- Comfort operating in highly competitive, urban or lifestyle hotel markets
- Proficient in systems knowledge (Opera, Travel Click, STAR reporting, etc.)
- Alignment with Hyatt's values-driven culture and commitment to creating environments where associates can thrive
