We are seeking an Electrical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will design electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects while ensuring compliance with codes and standards. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality, efficient, and sustainable designs. Essential Duties
- Develop electrical design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
- Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Perform load calculations, circuiting, and equipment selection
- Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural) to ensure integrated design solutions
- Review and apply relevant codes and standards
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and material take-offs
- Participate in site visits and field investigations to verify existing conditions
- Support construction administration by responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals

Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design within the AEC industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
