Description
SummaryThe Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Learning & Development Manager to join our Global Talent & Development team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR, Legal, Risk, Operations, and IT teams across regions to design and deliver global compliance learning programs that strengthen consistency, support regulatory alignment, and enhance the colleague experience.
You will play a key role in shaping and advancing Hyatt's global compliance learning ecosystem-evolving training approaches into scalable, data-informed, and continuously improving learning solutions that support business priorities, drive real-world behavior change, and ensure audit readiness.
Who We Are
At Hyatt, we believe in the power of belonging and creating a culture of care, where our colleagues become family. Since 1957, our colleagues and guests have been at the heart of our business, helping Hyatt become one of the fastest-growing hospitality brands in the world.
As we continue to grow, we never lose sight of what's most important: people. We turn trips into journeys, encounters into experiences, and jobs into careers.
How We Care for Our People
What sets us apart is our purpose-to care for people so they can be their best. This purpose informs every decision we make and how we support one another as members of the Hyatt family.
We offer exceptional benefits, including:
• Annual allotment of free hotel stays globally
• Flexible work schedule
• Wellbeing initiatives (including Headspace subscription and fitness discounts)
• Family assistance policy with paid parental leave and adoption support
• PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K with company match
Who You Are
You are a results-driven L&D professional who takes ownership and follows through. You bring a systems mindset and are comfortable operating across both strategy and execution.
You excel at managing complex, global initiatives and partnering across functions. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive clarity and momentum.
You understand how to design learning that is not only engaging, but actionable-translating into measurable behavior change and business impact.
The Role
- Lead the execution and continuous evolution of enterprise learning programs, designing scalable, continuous learning journeys (e.g., self-paced, instructor-led, and on-demand) that support global compliance and business priorities
- Continuously iterate learning solutions based on feedback, usage data, and evolving business needs to ensure relevance and effectiveness
- Design and deliver learning experiences that translate into real-world behavior change, focusing on practical application and measurable outcomes
- Partner with HR, Legal, Risk, Operations, and business leaders to align learning strategies with business priorities and ensure solutions are targeted and actionable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed learning into real workflows, enabling just-in-time, in-the-flow-of-work learning experiences
- Translate complex or technical compliance topics into clear, engaging, and actionable content for global audiences
- Coordinate global Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support content development, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timeliness
- Manage the full content lifecycle, including selection, customization, and localization to meet global and regional needs
- Manage vendor relationships, including performance tracking, renewals, and licensing, acting as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders
- Own and manage learning technology tools (e.g., Colossyan, Articulate, and other platforms), including day-to-day administration, user access, governance, and optimization of system capabilities
- Partner with IT on system configurations, integrations, and enhancements, ensuring learning technologies are effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously improved to support business needs
- Lead program delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring timelines, quality, and outcomes are achieved
- Design and maintain role-based, persona-driven, and continuous learning journeys that build capability over time
- Ensure consistency and alignment with Hyatt brand and learning standards across all deliverables
- Track and report on learning metrics (e.g., completion, engagement, application), using insights to improve effectiveness and demonstrate impact
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business strategy
- Support audit readiness through accurate documentation, reporting, and program governance
- Operate using agile ways of working, iterating quickly, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and continuously improving learning solutions through rapid testing and refinement
