Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. seeks Manager Region Maintenance Support based from Irving, TX to design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems processes for electrical and mechanical production equipment in alignment with global standards. Telecommuting permitted. Domestic travel required up to 75%. Duties include: manage the implementation of maintenance standards from Grupo Bimbo Global Headquarters across BBUSA regions & facilities; coordination of synergies between Grupo Bimbo Global Headquarters (Mexico) and Bimbo Bakeries USA’s (BBUSA) multidisciplinary teams for strategy alignments; lead meetings with regional managers and other BBUSA corporate areas, to align efforts for strategy alignments and KPI’s definitions; perform the alignment of maintenance corporate standards and KPIs by spreading Grupo Bimbo policies & procedures through BBUSA regions & facilities; evaluate required modifications to local BBUSA maintenance standards; define & manage the implementation of new/local maintenance strategies required by the company to reach business goals defined for BBUSA across all regions & facilities; standardize coding system definition for assets and buildings; define inventory processes for parts codes & purchasing for parts storage rooms; define a Maintenance Planning process that ensures maintenance resources (people, parts, repair time) are being used above 85% efficiency; define a Maintenance Assessment process applicable to all BBUSA regions & facilities which ensures the correct alignment and implementation of maintenance standards; define the process to standardize the training required for maintenance technicians looking to improve the performance on troubleshooting failures and preventive maintenance execution; define the process for reporting Downtime data occurring on the process floor during the production time to have the most accurate data which help the company to perform a better failure analysis; define a Root Cause Failure Analysis process as continuous improvement strategy for reducing failures in facilities across all BBUSA; define a parts control process across facilities at BBUSA which ensure having the right quantities based on budgets; organize and establish control systems by developing policies, procedures, and digital data tools to implement global & local maintenance standards; Design new policies and procedures to align Grupo Bimbo strategies to maintenance areas across all BBUSA regions & facilities; establish procedures to measure maintenance KPIs across all BBUSA regions & facilities; create digital dashboards/KPIs for maintenance performance; create manuals to generate reports; create digital data tools through PowerApps platform, Microsoft 365 office platform suite (Advanced Excel programming level), interacting with databases like SharePoint; provide training to engineers/managers/supervisors across all regions & facilities at BBUSA; develop training material for standardization of rules, norms, policies, procedures, tools, etc.; provide training on Grupo Bimbo standards across all regions & facilities at BBUSA; provide training to engineers/managers/supervisors on the use of the maintenance management system at onboardings or as may be required; and provide training to parts clerks & buyers at facilities on inventory & purchasing procedures and norms. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Required experience includes 3 years in a food production environment involving each of the following: Implementation of maintenance standards, including preventative maintenance protocols and preventative maintenance job plans for mechanical and electrical equipment, within a computerized maintenance management system; application of lean manufacturing tools in developing a maintenance plan; optimization of parts rooms, including execution of inventory controls and budgeting; communication across all levels of an organization, including plant and local management as well as regional or other senior managers; implementation of strategies related to reduction of product waste or increasing line efficiency; development of multidisciplinary training programs; creation of digital dashboards covering topics such as key production indicators, maintenance planning, maintenance assessment for facilities, pay for skills training program, root cause failure analysis, downtime reporting, and parts Inventory control; and identification of trends in maintenance processes. $125,700.00 - $183,600.00.
