The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the purchasing function for the hotel, as well as ensure meeting specified guidelines and policies. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to managing inventorying on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, such as month end inventories and the shipping and receiving of packages. Daily tracking of all Food & Beverage credits, working with vendors and scheduling deliveries, and working with the Accounting Department. This person must be able to lift a moderate to heavy amount of weight and have excellent communication and computer skills. Prior purchasing management experience in a large scale operation is needed, prior purchasing management experience in a hotel setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift moderate to heavy amounts of weight
• A minimum of 2 years purchasing management experience in a hotel or large scale setting preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Must have strong communication and analytical skills
• Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and dynamic leader
