Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator  to join our team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of estimating a variety of projects. You will be responsible for preparing detailed quantity takeoffs, developing cost estimates, analyzing drawings and specifications, and coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely project deliverables. You will also work with the scheduler and project managers to develop a construction schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (Engineering preferred).

Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with demonstrated experience on projects for New York State agencies, including but not limited to  MTA and SCA. 
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and materials.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
