What We're Looking For:
Component Supply Planning team is a collaborative group dedicated to ensuring the continuous operation and overall resilience of Zebra Technologies' global supply chain. Our primary focus is to partner closely with Zebra's Tier 1 suppliers to navigate component shortages effectively. We manage and maintain Strategic inventory (STI) buffers to absorb the impact of demand volatility and help formulate comprehensive mitigation plans to safeguard against broader global supply disruptions.
As a vital member of this team, you will play a central part in executing our component safety stock processes. Your daily responsibilities will encompass comprehensive data management, the tracking of key performance indicators, and the coordination of regular inventory reviews to promote consistent and reliable operations. Furthermore, you will serve as an essential liaison, fostering strong, cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders-including Global Supply Planning, Direct Procurement, and Supply Assurance-as well as our external Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities

As a key player in our supply planning ecosystem, your day-to-day work will directly influence Zebra's ability to deliver to our customers. You will:

• Drive Strategic Inventory (STI): Partner with global supply and procurement teams to identify, recommend, and manage strategic inventory buffers.
• Lead Allocation Decisions: Play a decisive role in component allocation splits between Tier-1 supplier sites and effectively communicate these strategies to key stakeholders.
• Own the Data & Analytics: Manage data for approved inventory levels, develop performance scorecards, and report key KPIs to leadership to evaluate the health of our supply buffers.
• Champion Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify process gaps, propose actionable improvements, and share best practices across our global teams.
• Foster Global Collaboration: Facilitate cross-functional alignment by validating reporting data and translating complex supply chain decisions into clear actions for all stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree required - Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field experience preferred
• Work Experience across supply chain / operations: 5+ years
• Fluent in English
• Storytelling ability using data
• Ability to manage complex material flows
• Understanding of supply chain impacts
• Ability to build strong relationships

Key Skills and Requirements

• International Supply Chain experience in material planning a plus

Incentive Compensation:
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
