Job Description

SCOPE:

Responsible for test support for new product introductions (NPI), legacy test equipment, continuation engineering product changes, and equipment replacement.

JOB SUMMARY:

You will establish all manufacturing test aspect of new products from design concept to full production release. Identify production test needs, translate those needs into equipment requirements and develop and implement cost-effective automated methods of testing.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will Work with design teams to incorporate DFT perspective into the product designs
• Maintain and track project financials and timelines to meet the assigned project deliverables.
• You will Complete procurement and installation of all test related capital equipment required for new production introductions.
• With guidance from senior engineer, selects proper test strategies based on test coverage requirements to provide a safe, reliable, manufacturing test solution.
• Develop test hardware, jigs and fixtures for all required manufacturing test process.
• Develop and debug test software test system to provide a reliable and repeatable manufacturing test solution.
• You will Support creation and release of documentation on the test solution:
  • Manufacturing Test Plan
  • Test specification
  • Test coverage
  • Test Procedures

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• 2+ years' experience as a test engineer contributor in a team-oriented project environment, including development of test equipment for production.
• Experience developing software using languages or platforms such as C, C++, C#, NI Test Stand, BT Basic.
• Candidate must have the ability to read and interpret new product designs consisting of electronic circuit schematics and bills of materials (BOM).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Knowledge of electronic hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communications in English.
